Oh, the other one does use GFC, too, you just have to put your mouse over the black box on the right side, and then click the one that says Followers. It's a little more complicated than usual. ;)

Haha, I know that feeling! Still, nothing better than being swept up in a good book! You'll have to try some of his novels afterwards - he wrote some really progressive female characters. Lots of nature too. Good times.

Cheers - it's a good book. Oh, I'm really pleased you're trying that! Thomas Hardy is a really interesting character, and Tomalin is an excellent biographer.
