Ana & Demi, here. Sorry to be a bother, but we just wanted to let you know that we have a giveaway going on at our blog. You could win any December book release, within the Young Adult (YA) or New Adult (NA) genre. If you'd like to join, just click here.
Sorry to have ignored this for so long- I don't get notifications to e-mail about comments, and I guess somehow I've missed a bunch of comments! Sorry about that. I agree completely with your assessment of the Road. I'm more of a want something to happen person myself, and get impatient with books where the world building isn't strong.
I found your comment. I've started your book, and I admit, some of it makes me uncomfortable. But I'll finish it up this week. Content aside, your writing flows very nicely and is easy to read.

Awesome! Thank you for those suggestions, and yes I'll definitely give them a try. Meanwhile, I just started reading Paths of Glory by Jeffery Archer. Have you read it? Its an interesting read.
I also wanted to read Dune, but I haven't got around to reading it yet.

Thank you for reviewing my article and checking out my blog. :)
Supernatural and horror eh? Well, I'm a newbie, but just recently got a few Stephen King and John Grisham novels. Got any good suggestions?
Yes, absolutely, we genre fans need to stick together, so welcome to the club. :)
Yes, I'm following your blog and I must say, I love it already!

Hello Paul!
I read your reply to the message 'JUST DO IT' and so I was wondering if you could read my blog and review my writing.

Hi Paul, Thank you for stopping by and commenting on my blog. Yes, I guess I do have a very eclectic taste in books. If I think it sounds good, I'll read it. I do tend to lean alot more toward anything with a little romance to it, but my horizons are broadening more and more everyday. I've been to your blog and it is great. I would love to feature you one week but I have to ask, would you like to be interviewed as an author or a blogger? I have sets of questions for either one. Let me know what you think. If you want you can email me directly at countrysunset40@aol.com. I look forward to hearing more from you.
A book group (who meets monthly to discuss books) read my book and invited me to come and discuss it with them. I ended up signing a lot of books and meeting a lot of fans. I loved it. It was so fun to have people who wanted to discuss how I became an author, who told me what they loved about my novel, etc. It was the first one I've ever done, and I hope to do more in the future.
I am not The Balanced Writer, but they did host me. I appreciate any support! My Monday is crazy. Going out of town tomorrow to book group/signing. Terrified, BTW. Thanks for following, and I look forward to those rare moments that you comment. I will know I earned it.
Thanks for the friend invite. This forum often overwhelms me, but I always respond to messages and am glad to get to know you. I love the comment about having one eye on the what the public wants, the other eye on your integrity. I only wrote for myself until I published. Now I know what it's like to be looking over the fence. I gave up however, and decided to write for me anyway. If it doesn't sell, my life isn't so bad as it is.
Thanks for sending a friends request :) I try to stop by as much as possible, but I'm most active on my blog, http://www.rainyofthedark.com which is geared toward blogging, promoting, writing, etc. I offer interviews for both authors and bloggers, and the details can be found under the “community” tab. I also love having guests.
For social media, I use Twitter and Facebook more than I probably should ;) And I can be reached directly by email rainy AT rainyofthedark.com.
I fully agree. :-) The story had amazing potential and then...not so much.
You're welcome for the information on Nurture Virtual Book Tours. Well, I'm not 100 percent sure about when the discount will end, but I'm leaning towards mid-August. If you are interested in having a tour with Nurture just let me know; I'd be delighted to help.
Hey Paul, the name was originally a joke. I started blogging a two years back when I was off work for a couple of months. I never expected the blog to take off the way it did. I'm a ginger and I'm nutty about horror, I just put the the elements together.
