Thanks so much for your advice about the free books. I changed the price on Smashwords and every one else followed suit...except for Amazon, they're dragging their spiked tail, breathing fire, and emitting noxious smoke from their nostrils. It's not easy getting a dragon to do your bidding. How long did it get you to get the beast to submit?
I have all the other sites you mentioned on my to do list: Authors Den, Book Barista, Your Books and Bestseller Bound, but now I have to wrap some presents or I'm going to be fired from my very important elf position by Santa. I bet Santa could take on the dragon and win.
Nice to meet you. I'm new to Book Blogs and I was searching through the site and saw that you just went free with one of your titles on Amazon. I have a couple of questions: How did you get it switched to a free category? One of my titles is a novella and I'd like to give it away free for a bit, but for the life of me I can't figure out how to do it on Amazon, its currently 99 cents. The second question is: I know that you got a lot of downloads, are your other titles companions to the free book. And then, finally, what other marketing strategies are you employing? I have four books on Amazon, Smashwords premium distribution and B & N and would love to chat with someone new to the game like myself.
