When you are on the Template and playing with the design you have to hit and apply button before it will change it officially on the blog and there is a preview button so you can see it before you do it :)

Thanks so much Cynthia that means a lot to me. I followed you back :) Honestly it took me forever to design my blog, I couldn't figure it out but just go to the design bar or edit, then go to your layout and you can play with everything from there. I just started randomly changing things to figure it out lol. If you need any help just let me know.
