He is considered the most innovative of the Brazilian modernists. Besides having been a precursor of the Tropicália movement and of the "marginal poetry" of the 70s, de Andrade wrote three major manifestos: the Pau-Brasil Poetry Manifesto (1924), Pau Brasil (1925) and the Anthropophagic Manifesto (1928). He also introduced Brazilian literature to experimental prose with Memórias Sentimentais de João Miramar (1924).Visit me plase. Thanks! Have a happy day!
I checked out your blog, and read your review of 'The Wrong Path' which sounds interesting. I will search it out in the bookshop. I am always willing to sample new reading material. I connect with what the author said about re-visiting old notebooks for ideas.
Anyway, good luck with your blog.

Welcome to Book Blogs! I'm relatively new too - just wanted to say hello and invite you to stop by my blog at www.Jill-Elizabeth.com. So far I've found Book Blogs to be a pretty helpful place - it can be a tad overwhelming, lots to see and do, but all in all I've found it to be a great way to get the word out about your own work and to see what others are doing...

I haven't got a kindle, I guess I'm old fashioned. I prefer to read books in paper, but that's me.

Welcome Maria!
Hope you enjoy it here? it can be a bit overwhelming I am pretty new to this site myself
and to the world of blog!
I have found it to be a great place to network with readers and writers alike, and being passionate about both this is right up my alley.
I am currently working on my debut novel, a Paranormal Romance called “This Life” which you can check out on my blog http://can-duu.blogspot.com/
Hope to see you there!
