thx for stopping by....I'm now following your blog with bloglovin'^^
Steampunk is such a great genre I really got into it after I read 'Soulless' by Gail Carriger....it's the first book of the 'Parasol Protectorate' series...her books are witty and funny...just an enjoyable read and very good to get a first impression of the genre.
I'm prefering books that are more about the people of the victorian era and less about the whole gadgetries...but that's just my opinion.
Another book I really like is "Clockwork Angel" by Cassandra Clare. It's mostly steampunk with a lot of YA and paranormal romance mixed in. It's also the first book of a series (The Infernal Devices) which is a prequel of 'The Mortal Instruments' series.
I hope that this was kinda helpful and makes it easier for you to get started on Steampunk^^
Thanks for the warm welcome, Ashley! I love your blog and I look forward to reading more in the days to come. I love that kid playing the guitar too...you should check out all his videos on YouTube! He's really very talented.
