Hi!

I see that you’re a dog lover, and so I thought you might be interested in a dog rescue-related book project I'm working on.

I’m raising awareness about puppy mills and supporting dog rescue groups by publishing breed-specific and region-specific books full of stories about adopted dogs. The books give proud owners of adopted dogs a chance to showcase them, raise awareness about dog adoption and breed characteristics, and generate funding for dog rescue through the donation of a portion of each sale. “Lost Souls: FOUND! Inspirational Stories of Adopted Boston Terriers” and "Lost Souls: FOUND! Inspiring Stories About Golden Retrievers" are already available on Amazon.com, and it's possible that by the end of the year we'll have also published books on Labs, Dachshunds and Pit Bulls.

The stories submitted for the books are truly thought-provoking; they’re a good read for any dog lover. We are currently selling books and collecting stories from anyone who has a great one about their adopted dog. Is there anything you can do to help us spread the word?

More information can be found at http://happytailsbooks.com, and a sneak preview of the Golden Retriever book is at http://happytailsbooks.com/images/Golden_Retriever_Book_Preview.pdf.

Thank you,
Kyla Duffy

Early Endorsements for “A Circle of Souls”

Linda Fairstein, NYT Bestselling Author: "A fascinating debut - this novel takes the reader to the darkest places in the human soul, from a writer with the authenticity to lead us there. A stunning thriller and an important read."

Judge Judy Sheindlin, star of the Judge Judy Show: "The seminal work of this fine author kept me glued to my chair until the adventure was over and the mystery solved. A great read!"

Book Synopsis:

The sleepy town of Newbury, Connecticut, is shocked when a little girl is found brutally murdered. The town s top detective, perplexed by a complete lack of leads, calls in FBI agent Leia Bines, an expert in cases involving children.

Meanwhile, Dr. Peter Gram, a psychiatrist at Newbury s hospital, searches desperately for the cause of seven-year-old Naya Hastings devastating nightmares. Afraid that she might hurt herself in the midst of a torturous episode, Naya s parents have turned to the bright young doctor as their only hope.

The situations confronting Leia and Peter converge when Naya begins drawing chilling images of murder after being bombarded by the disturbing images in her dreams. Amazingly, her sketches are the only clues to the crime that has panicked Newbury residents. Against her better judgment, Leia explores the clues in Naya s crude drawings, only to set off an alarming chain of events.
In this stunning psychological thriller, innocence gives way to evil, and trust lies forgotten in a web of deceit, fear, and murder.

If you are looking for a lusty read, check out the first chapter of my book Sin & Vengeance at www.22wb.com. The chapter may seem erotic and even a little gratiutous, but you'll find it's critical to the plot if you go all the way.

Hi,

My name is Chris Tusa, and I'm a writer from New Orleans. My debut novel, Dirty Little Angels, is being released from the University of West Alabama on March 1st, and is now available for pre-order from Amazon.com. I am writing because I was hoping you might be willing to mention it on your blog (or consider it for review). I've included a summary of the novel below:

Dirty Little Angels
Set in the slums of New Orleans, among clusters of crack houses and abandoned buildings, Dirty Little Angels is the story of sixteen year old Hailey Trosclair. When the Trosclair family suffers a string of financial hardships and a miscarriage, Hailey finds herself looking to God to save her family. When her prayers go unanswered, Hailey puts her faith in Moses Watkins, a failed preacher and ex-con. Fascinated by Moses's lopsided view of religion, Hailey, and her brother Cyrus, begin spending time down at an abandoned bank that Moses plans to convert into a drive-through church. Gradually, though, Moses's twisted religious beliefs become increasingly more violent, and Hailey and Cyrus soon find themselves trapped in a world of danger and fear from which there may be no escape.

If you'd like to read the first chapter before you commit, feel free to visit my web site:

Thanks so much,
Chris
