Thanks tons for sharing and spreading the word .... I would love to return the favour when I plan to Invite my Author friends for a Guest Blog, so please do send me details about your book and blog.
I visited your blog and I love your rating system! It's a hoot. I did fill out the form for a review and promotion. Just so you know I am willing to send you two copies in print. If you are willing to do what you do, that is the least I can do. Thanks for considering my book. I am a newbie and I am trying to do this promoting thing without causing too much damage.
Thank you for the welcome! I have just been looking at your review site and am sending in a request form, your site is wonderful and I've signed up as a follower. I will check out your daughter's as well, kudos to her for setting up her own blog!
Thank you again for welcoming me, I appreciate it. :)
Christina, thank you so much for your welcome to the site. I look forward to getting to know more bloggers. I've bookmarked your blog and Caitlyn's. She is adorable and I can't wait to see what she does next. As soon as I figure out how to add links to my blog, I'll be adding both of you to my blogroll.
Thanks for the welcome. I am new to the book blogging world so it is great to find a place where people are so inviting and supportive. I just started my blog and would love for you to check it out. http://bookbloggerparadise.blogspot.com
I joined yours and your daughters blogs. They are awesome!
Thanks for the great welcome - it's good to be here. Your daughter's blog is adorable (as is she). Good for her! Oh, and followed you, too. It's nice to be in a place where everyone is so passionate - makes me feel right at home.
THANK YOU!!! for making me feel so welcome!!! I just started following your blog. I love the idea that you have your daughter review books too. I thought of having my son (he's 8) and my daughter (she's 5) read books and have them tell me what they thought. I think it will be an interesting review if i did that :)....Thanks again and Happy reading!!!
Thanks very much for the nice welcome! I've just written my first book, so it's great to have found a place like this where there are other authors trying to get their work noticed.
I've recently published my first book on Amazon in the paranormal romance genre, and I'm pretty excited about it.
Just to introduce myself, I am a Brit living in Germany who loves to read and write. Under a different name, I’ve had seven books of film criticism published through three different publishers (one of which is soon to be translated into Chinese- the books not the publishers, that is).
I wrote my first novel about 20 years ago but like most first efforts, in retrospect , it was just painful, awful, self-centred, pretentious rubbish. The stuff I write now is much less self-centred.
What I write is hard to define by genre- YA mostly but in terms of tone it’s a mixture of funny and thought-provoking. That’s the aim, anyway. My books should ‘shake you up’ a little, maybe even change you as a person- after reading one, you should be a little happier, a little wiser maybe. These sound like lofty aims but I don’t want to spend thousands of hours writing words that simply wash over people. Who aspires to be forgettable?
My first ebook, Luke, I am Your Father, a darkly-comic tale of unplanned pregnancy from a male point of view, came out on Kindle last year. Memoir of a Gothic Girl, my latest book, tells the chaotic story of a 13-year-old girl who decides to embrace the dark side of life and ‘go Goth’ as a way of coping with pressures at home and school.
Forthcoming attractions include… Live Long and Prospero (about a bunch of lunatics on a lighthouse in 1983) which will appear in March and Rainbow (about farming, football and one very special cow) will emerge blinking into the daylight later in 2013.
I have about 10 more books ‘in the pipe’ as they say- hopefully more ‘hash’ or ‘half’ than ‘sewage’ but as ever, it is the readers who will decide.
Contrary to all received wisdom, I don’t Tweet or have a blog or a website. I do not even have a mobile phone (gasp). I should really be the leader of a Luddite cult. Maybe I am and no-one’s told me. I have, under duress, been persuaded to show my virtual face on Facebook. You can see more essential details on www.facebook.com/scott.pixello
Thank you for the welcome. I looked at your page....love the layout and your sense of humor with your readers making them "wait for it" in seeing the covers. Yes, I am new on these blogs, so I need to start figuring out how to best utilize these connections. Marketing is NOT my thing, but I figure I need to start making it my thing!
Thanks for the welcome. I have no clue what I am doing but hopefully I will pick it up as I go and so far folks have been really friendly.
I have checked out both yours and your daughters blogs and they both look great. I admit I am drawn to you daughter's blog as I write childrens books. I have added a link below to my blog. I would be very interested in your daughters opinion as let's face it, her opinion is of special importantance when it comes to whether or not I am getting it right!
Any advice you have re...well anything blog or book related will be greatfully recieved and if there is anything that I can do to help you out then please give me a shout :o)
Thank you for the welcome! I am new to blogs, but I really like your blogspot. I'll check out your daughters blog too, as my own kids love books.
