Hi Cheyenne, I figured out the problem with GFC, it doesn't work with internet explorer, it works great with Safari though! LOL ;)  That's why I couldn't find it the other day, as I couldn't see it in my web browser, curse internet explorer for wasting hours of my time, but thank you so much for pointing me in the right direction, it's most appreciated.

Hi Cheyenne,

Thanks for your warm welcome. I particularly like your cover to cover blog, which I have followed. A cover is definitely one way to judge a book, and very important to get right.

When I was getting ready to publish my first book I paid good attention to book covers and what I found interesting/exciting/a draw. http://citychronicles-deborahcater.blogspot.com.es/2011/09/judging-covers-of-books.html

Hi Cheyene :D

Ah, I know the one... I can't find it in the Gadgets ???  I've searched high and low for it, but it's not there.... and if I seach online it just says that it was made inactive as of 31-3-12

And the regular Followers widget just comes up empty with 'can't diagnose connection problem' that's why that isn't on my blog because it looks silly and you can't use it to follow anyway - so totally useless - and where the Follow button used to be on the top left Blogger Nav Bar, that's gone too, so what are you supposed to do?!! LOL

That's why I did Google+ and the Networked Blogs Widget instead, perhaps I'll join Linky too...  I don't know so many options .... any idea's/help greatly appreciated :)

Thanks, Cheyenne:

I appreciate the welcome. I'm currently working on a contemporary novel titled WEST OF TOMORROW, a story of growth and ethical choices in a time of great change...kind of like now. I became fascinated by paradigm shifts quite a while ago, and the times in which we find ourselves are about nothing if not multiple shifting (& perhaps contradictory) paradigms.

If this interests you, my blog  deals with those themes on a macro-social level, even tho the book deals much more with the internal questions we all face in our lives and how they affect others.  It's @ http://dirksayers.com/

Best,

Dirk

Yeah, that can be tough. But, you know, if you have a nice, detailed outline things rarely go wrong. I had one and managed to get through almost every day. I had one minor set back, since on the second week turned out that I was pregnant. It really messed things up, but that outline saved my butt. And in the end I was able to reach the finish line. I think I'll skip this year, but the next is so on. Maybe then you'll have more time, too. :)

Hi, Cheyenne,

Thanks for the warm welcome. I'm going to follow your blogs, YA isn't my preferred genre, but I love to read just about anything, I'll sure I'll be entertained. My blog is Semperfi2.com, it will probably - no definitely! - not be your preferred site, but I'm just asking people to spread the word about it, hoping that Amazon's free sample chapters of my first novel will entice some buyers! It's a bit pricey at $2.99, but please keep your fingers crossed for me.

Thanks again,

Tim

Hi Cheyeen!

Nice to meet you.

Both of your blogs look great. I like the clean lines of both, and I find the cover to cover concept very cool.

Thanks for the warm welcome!

Jenn!

Thanks for welcoming me in.  I've written a boys' adventure novel that I'll be

trying to market.  My first challenge is making time to be on line more.

Thanks again, Mark
