Hello Dan, What a profile! I also often prefer a good book than a social function. I was a very social creature, but as I have gotten older I do prefer the one on one best and I leave the social butterfly mode to my teenager! Welcome to Book Blogs, I have forged many friendships here with bloggers, avid readers and prolific writers. We help each other out and have a great time while we do so. Let me know if there is anything I can help you with.
Archway to Acknowledgement is a group that can increase your following on twitter if you are interested in that. I have joined many groups that fit the topics I write about and that can help me market my debut novel as well as the one I am working on now.
If you get a chance please check out http://www.TheBridgeofDeaths.com it is a Historical blend of fact and fiction. I hope you enjoy Book Blogs as much as I have,
Catalina

Welcome to Book Blogs! I'm Kate, a young adult author. My debut novel Taste has just been released by Crescent Moon Press last April 30, 2012.
At Barinkoff Academy, there's only one rule: no students on campus after curfew. Phoenix McKay soon finds out why when she is left behind at sunset. A group calling themselves night students threaten to taste her flesh until she is saved by a mysterious, alluring boy. With his pale skin, dark eyes, and mesmerizing voice, Demitri is both irresistible and impenetrable. He warns her to stay away from his dangerous world of flesh eaters. Unfortunately, the gorgeous and playful Luka has other plans.
When Phoenix is caught between her physical and her emotional attraction, she becomes the keeper of a deadly secret that will rock the foundations of an ancient civilization living beneath Barinkoff Academy. Phoenix doesn’t realize until it is too late that the closer she gets to both Demitri and Luka the more she is plunging them all into a centuries old feud.
I hope you enjoy your stay here! Lots of great people and interesting topics. If there's anything you might need, please don't hesitate to leave a comment on my page.
