Hello, Bridget!

He is considered the most innovative of the Brazilian modernists. Besides having been a precursor of the Tropicália movement and of the "marginal poetry" of the 70s, de Andrade wrote three major manifestos: the Pau-Brasil Poetry Manifesto (1924), Pau Brasil (1925) and the Anthropophagic Manifesto (1928). He also introduced Brazilian literature to experimental prose with Memórias Sentimentais de João Miramar (1924).Visit me plase:

Thanks! Have a nice day!

Bridget (what a great name), I would love to enter your HARRISVILLE giveaway, but somewhere along the way, I lost count of how many points I had, and was not successful in adding points... Anyway, if you have "wild card' entries, please include me. Oh, what a great idea, "wild card" entries. :)
