Hey Karen!
I'm sure you will enjoy it here, as for the badge if you go the homepage and scroll down on the right side (above"Need Help" & below "Top Content") you should see a heading called "Badge" Under it you will see "Get Badge" which should lead you to this link: http://bookblogs.ning.com/main/embeddable/list
After choosing size and colour you will see embed code and since your on blogger you copy the code then on blogger go to Design--> Layout--->Add a gadget--->Scroll down until you see "HTML/JavaScript" paste the code in there and click save arrangement at the top of the layout and it should (hopefully) pop up!
