What I got back was at first disheartening, but something I'd been avoiding since being published. Each one told me I needed a well-known author to review it or get a national review if I wanted them to carry my novel. I reluctantly took their advice and paid Kirkus for their feedback. My fears of being stomped on by the big dogs went unfounded I guess. http://adamsanto.wordpress.com/2013/05/19/kirkus-speaks/
